A large storm will track northeastward from the Gulf of Mexico later Friday andSaturday, bringing widespread heavy rainfall and flooding to the South andsevere thunderstorms to Florida. If the storm continues to track northeastwardtoward Virginia, parts of the Ohio Valley and Northeast will be hit with asignificant snowstorm Saturday night and into Sunday.
