Authorities have identified the woman found fatally shot in a south Minneapolis alley early Saturday as Victoria Ann Day, 23, of Minneapolis.
She suffered gunshot wounds, and her death was a homicide, according to a news release Sunday from the Hennepin County medical examiner's office.
Police found Day's body about 1:30 a.m. Saturday in the alley behind a residence in the 2200 block of 10th Avenue S. in the Phillips neighborhood.
