Instructors trying to get motivated for the new school year may want to check out "Teach" (7 p.m. Friday, WCCO, Ch. 4), which spotlights four public-school teachers who excel at inspiring their brats — er, I mean, students. Queen Latifah, whose mother taught in the New Jersey system, narrates.

Ross' reign

Ross Matthews, who made the most of his "Tonight Show" internship, finally lands a talk show of his own. "Hello Ross" (9 p.m. Friday, E!) will lean heavily on social media, which means some lucky viewers are going to have a chance to snark directly with the master.
