The Mill City Farmers Market kicked off its eighth season on May 11. One reason for its longevity: Its deftly selected group of vendors, which cater to both shoppers and eaters. Along with stocking up on goat cheese, arugula, smoked trout and duck eggs, shoppers can feast on a remarkable variety of street foods, including spicy potstickers, organic mini-doughnuts, seasonally minded sweet and savory crêpes and made-to-order omelets. Looking for a more formal meal? Neighboring Spoonriver serves an awesome weekend brunch. 704 S. 2nd St., Mpls.; 612-341-7580, millcityfarmersmarket.org
