Theft. A 2012 Chevrolet Silverado was stolen from a open garage in the 4300 block of 164th Avenue NW. The keys had been left inside the vehicle.

Theft. A purse and electronics were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 8300 block of Broadway Avenue NE.

Warrant arrest. Police checking on a vehicle parked in a handicapped spot without a placard in the area of Snelling and Larpenteur avenues discovered that the driver, a 54-year-old man, had a revoked license and warrant. He was arrested and booked into the Ramsey County jail.

Assist public. Officers responded to a report of water leaking into apartments in the 5900 block of East River Road NE. They forced their way into an upstairs apartment and found it was filling with water. A woman there said her young children had turned on a faucet while she was sleeping.

Suspicious activity. Two juveniles were caught trying to break into a pool house in the 4000 block of Victor Path. After talking to a deputy, both agreed they had made a bad decision.
SEPT. 20
Animal complaint. A resident reported after midnight that a cow was at her front door in the 5000 block of 170 Street. Authorities searched the area but were unable to find the cow.

Neighbor complaint. A resident in the area of Cedar Drive and First Avenue reported that exhaust from a neighbor's truck was getting into their home and stinking up the neighborhood.

Traffic. A 21-year-old man was arrested and cited for driving without headlights and after suspension in the area of Broadway Street and Hwy. 280. A 21-year-old woman was arrested and cited for allowing the illegal operation of her vehicle.
MOUNDS VIEW

Underage consumption. Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated man at Taco Bell, 2219 Mounds View Blvd. An 18-year-old man was arrested for underage consumption.
SEPT. 27
Theft. A 1998 Honda Civic was stolen from the 2600 block of Scotland Court. It was later recovered in Blaine.

Theft. Two tires were taken off a vehicle parked in the 1500 block of Old Hwy. 8.

Theft. The registration tabs were removed from a vehicle parked in the 900 block of County Road D.

Assist public. A resident requested help getting her cat out of a tree in the 1400 block of Iodine Street NW. She was advised that the cat would come down on its own.

Theft. A 15-year-old boy was arrested for theft after he was caught shoplifting merchandise valued at $2.49 at Cub Foods, 3930 Silver Lake Road.
