• Saturday: The Washington County Historical Society's Minnesota Statehood Celebration, 7 to 11 p.m. at the county's historic courthouse, 101 W. Pine St., Stillwater. It will include music, hors d'oevres and a silent auction, featuring a unique piece of chocolate art. Monica Fogg, an artist from Afton, has made an edible, chocolate painting of Fairy Falls. • June 14: Presentation on history of state's brewing industry and beer tasting at the Hay Lake School Museum in Scandia, 4 to 7 p.m. Doug Hoverson, author of "Land of Amber Waters," a chronicle of Minnesota's brew traditions, will give a free presentation.
