Early next week, the East will remain warm with temperatures in the 80s fromKentucky to southern New England. From the Carolinas southward to Florida itwill also be dry and quite warm.Monday, torrents of rain will fall from Texas to the lower Midwest withflooding expected. Severe thunderstorms will also rumble at this time.

The Southwest will be dry with seasonable temperatures.

The region from the northern Plains to the northern Rockies will remain onthe cold side with light snow due in Montana and northern Wyoming.
