Hopefully you have not put away your heavier jacket if you live in theeastern half of the nation. Chilly air will likely dive from Canada to the Gulfand East coasts early next week. Blustery winds will further add to the cold.Wet snow over parts of the Midwest and Appalachians will make this firstweekend in April feel like the calendar has been flipped back to January.

The cold air is forecast to plunge over the nation's midsection on Sunday.

The risk of hypothermia will be great for those wading through the near32-degree flood waters over the northern Plains. The air will turn chillyacross the rest of the East Monday into Tuesday.
