Eat Street Social proves it's possible to be cocktail-committed without taking itself too seriously (they are building a tiki bar, after all). Sultan of spirits Nick Kosevich has created a moderately priced, hit-making drinks menu that's discernible for dilettantes but still impresses aficionados. His potation professionals squelch any stuffiness as they mix, muddle and strain Kosevich's seasonal selections (don't miss this spring's soothing mind-melter, Purity Ritual). Tip: There's a deeper menu of classics, staff picks and upscale offerings behind the bar. Ask and you shall receive. 18 W. 26th St., Mpls.; 612-767-6850; eatstreetsocial.com
