Through the ease of email, St. Paul artist Joyce Lyon and painter/videographer Andrea Thoma of Leeds, England, have explored ideas about place, time and home for the past decade. In a new show, the friends present work inspired by their correspondence. Lyon offers drawings, text and a photo essay about the experience of moving through a landscape or glimpsing nature framed by windows. Thoma's contribution includes stripe paintings, photos and a video, "Window Cloud," that employs ever-changing clouds as a metaphor for time's passage. Free opening reception 7-9 p.m. Sat. 2/11.
