A heavy, wind-driven snowfall will bring travel to a standstill throughnortheastern Pennsylvania and central New York Thursday afternoon and Thursdaynight. At times, the snow will be falling at 1 to 2 inches per hour, andblowing snow will be so bad you won't be able to see across the street.This bad winter storm will probably force certain sections of highway throughnortheastern Pennsylvania and central New York to close. Best be advised thattravel through this region should be avoided if at all possible beginningThursday afternoon.

The storm itself will have a much broader scope, but the area that is outlinedis where we feel it will hit the hardest.
