There's a light rain falling at Memorial Stadium, nothing like the snow back home, and it's 54 degrees as the Gophers prepare to face Illinois. There's a strong, steady wind blowing toward the north end zone, which could affect play.
The weather and the early start time (and very likely, the opponent) seem to be keeping people away, because the stadium is half-full as kickoff approaches, and I don't even see much traffic on the road leading to the stadium. I'm a little surprised, since this is the Illini's last home game.
