CHASKA

WEEK OF APRIL 19

Traffic complaint. Officers responded to a call about a vehicle crashing through a garage wall of a home on Hundertmark Road, creating a large hole. According to police reports, the male driver said he was wearing sandals and a sandal got stuck on the accelerator.

CORCORAN

APRIL 18

Suspicious activity. A homeowner from the 23200 block of Oakdale Drive called police to report that a helicopter was flying low near houses and buzzing horses. An officer spoke with someone from mosquito control and found that the helicopter was from their department. They stated that with the nice weather, they were trying to get an early start on mosquito prevention.

EDINA

APRIL 21

Theft. Police arrested two 15-year-old girls for shoplifting at several stores at Southdale Center. One girl was charged with possession of stolen property and giving a false name to police and the other girl was charged with possession of stolen property.

APRIL 22

Theft. A 26-year-old Minneapolis woman was arrested for stealing $65.88 worth of steaks from Cub Foods at 6775 York Av. South. Employees observed her concealing the steaks and leaving the store without paying for them, police said.

MAPLE GROVE

APRIL 17

Property damage. Police received 10 calls from residents in numerous areas of the city complaining that someone had spray-painted their property. Houses, garages, vehicles and mailboxes had been spray-painted.

APRIL 18

Property damage. Someone broke an apple tree in the yard of a home on the 10800 block of Maple Valley Drive.

APRIL 20

Theft. Someone reportedly stole two bottles of vodka from a store in the 8100 block of Wedgewood Lane.

Burglary. Someone broke into two homes that are under construction on the 6200 block of Rainier Lane and stole 140 feet of copper tubing.

MEDINA

MARCH 28

Drunken driving. Police arrested a 54-year-old woman for drunken driving at her home on the 4500 block of Wichita Trail. The woman had called a towing company to seek assistance because she had locked herself in her vehicle inside her garage, and she was unable to get out.

MARCH 31

Check welfare. Police responded to a 911 hang-up call at a church in the 2300 block of Cox Trail. An officer located a woman at the church who said her 1-year-old child had accidentally dialed 911 and everything was fine.

MINNEAPOLIS

APRIL 14

Robbery. Officers responded to a reported robbery at a barber shop in the 2300 block of Penn Avenue N. Three men were robbed at gunpoint by two other men. One of the suspects had been sitting in a chair in the barber shop and stood up when the first suspect entered and produced a gun. The suspects ordered all three men into a back room and stole a wallet, two cell phones and car keys. The suspects fled in one of the victims' vehicles.

PLYMOUTH

APRIL 12

Burglary. A man called police to report a burglary at his home on the 100 block of Saratoga Lane. A record collection valued at more than $800,000 was reportedly stolen from his living room. There were no signs of forced entry.

APRIL 13

Theft. A 20-year-old woman called police to report a theft on the 10600 block of 36th Avenue. She told police she had left her purse in the woods overnight and returned the following morning to look for it. She said she found the purse but that her cell phone and three iPods were missing from it.
