Underage consumption. Officers responded to a report of disturbing the peace at a home in the 3900 block of Maple Shores Drive. Six males and one female were cited for underage consumption of alcohol.

JULY 27
Suspicious activity. An officer responded to a report of a man sitting in a vehicle and apparently scanning a residence with binoculars in the area of County Road 19 and Julie Ann Drive. The man told the officer that he was looking at a rare type of hummingbird.
EDINA

Drugs. A 19-year-old Edina man was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop in the 4300 block of 58th Street.

Noise complaint. Officers responded to a report of a loud boom at property near McDonald's, 770 Excelsior Blvd. A 39-year-old Excelsior man was cited for a fireworks violation.
MEDINA
JULY 25
Curfew violation. Officers spotted a 15-year-old boy walking in the early morning hours in the 3100 block of Magnolia Drive. When questioned, he told officers he often walked late at night to think. He was advised of curfew rules and told to go home.

Check welfare. Officers responded to a report of a 911 hang-up call at a home on Landings Way. They discovered that a child was playing with the phone.
PLYMOUTH
JULY 23
Theft. Golf clubs valued at $1,800 were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 1800 block of Yuma Lane.
JULY 29
Drugs. Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle at a business parking lot in the 3900 block of Vinewood Lane. Two Maple Grove men, ages 18 and 19, were cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and a 20-year-old Maple Grove man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
RICHFIELD

Weapon. Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 6700 block of Pillsbury Avenue S. They found that a firearm had been pulled on some people and arrested a 41-year-old Richfield man.
JULY 30
Disturbance. Officers responded to a report of a naked man sitting with gardening shears in Wood Lake Park, 6710 Lake Shore Dr. He was arrested for disorderly conduct and giving a false name to officers.

Drugs. An 18-year-old Minnetonka man was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at Manor Road and Excelsior Boulevard.
TONKA BAY
AUG. 2
Underage consumption. Officers spotted a suspicious vehicle after hours at Manitou Park. A 19-year-old Eden Prairie man and a 19-year-old Maple Plain woman were cited for underage consumption.
WACONIA

Driving violations. A 20-year-old woman was cited for inattentive driving and not having a valid driver's license after she was involved in a property damage accident at Highway 5 and Olive Street S.
