For those who made a fool of themselves at their workplace holiday bashes: It could have been worse. "Office Christmas Party" is the perfect hangover movie, more so for the theme than any genuine laughs, although Jennifer Aniston, as a Scrooge-like boss, keeps proving that she's better as an off-kilter secondary character than a leading lady.

Having Lionel Richie and Gloria Estefan as part of the 40th Annual Kennedy Center Honors ensures viewers of some great singalong moments — Leona Lewis somehow makes "All Night Long" tolerable again — but the real highlight is the induction of dancer/choreographer Carmen de Lavallade, courtesy of some outstanding ballerinas and singers.
