St. Paul Saints players (from left) Robert Coe, Tony Thomas, Mark Hamburger and Tony Caldwell kept the mood light in the dugout before the start of the team's 25th season on Thursday night at CHS Field in St. Paul. The Saints defeated the Gary SouthShore RailCats 5-2, scoring all of their runs in the sixth inning on home runs by Nate Hanson and Thomas. Hamburger got the victory, taking a shutout into the ninth. The four-game series continues Friday night.
