The Mariners released outfielder Eric Byrnes, not long after the struggling player performed an EPIC FAIL on a squeeze play. Rule No. 1 of a squeeze: do everything in your power to get the bunt down. Opposite of rule No. 1: What Byrnes did. This MLB.com video shows the full thing, but we like the slow motion YouTube handiwork even better. On a side note, we were in Arizona in 2007 around the time Byrnes was a fan favorite signing his huge contract extension. Things, um, haven't really gone so well since then.
