Gov. Mark Dayton encouraged laughter from the Concordia University St. Paul volleyball team on Thursday at the State Capitol. Dayton hosted a reception in honor of the Golden Bears, who won their seventh consecutive NCAA Division II championship in December. They are the first volleyball team to win seven consecutive NCAA titles across any division. The team won the title last year after defeating Brigham Young University-Hawaii 3-0. At left is St. Paul Mayor Chris Coleman.
