Anticipation cut through the frigid winter air as crowds huddled together in Hastings, waiting for the 2017 Canadian Pacific Holiday Train to arrive. The event showcases the train, which is lit from engine to caboose, and also stages musical performances. Since 1999, Holiday Train shows have traveled across Canada and the northern United States, spreading cheer and raising funds and donations of healthful food for local food shelves.
