The Minnesota Cup, an annual entrepreneurship competition, announced its division winners on Wednesday. Below are the winners in the high tech, biosciences, as well as the clean tech and renewable energy divisions. All winners, excluding the student division winner, received $20,000 in seed capital and will compete for the grand prize.
Biosciences division winner: BioMatRx, a tissue engineering company
High tech division winner: GeaCom, a developer of a multilingual communication device
Clean tech and renewable energy division winner: EarthClean, developer of a nontoxic gel to stop fires
