With high aspirations for its Robert John "Mutt" Lange-produced album "Hands All Over" (out Sept. 21), Maroon 5 is thinking big for its fall tour. The band will try its hand at arenas again, including an Oct. 28 date at Target Center in Minneapolis with OneRepublic opening. Tickets are supposed to go on sale July 10 at prices TBA, and the band's site lists a fanclub pre-sale offering on July 6. For those who don't know, Lange produced AC/DC's "Back in Black," although I'm guessing his work with M5 might more recall the more polished pop styling he did for Def Leppard and Shania Twain. The first single from the album, "Misery," was released today to radio stations. Speaking of polished pop, Minnesota's Owl City is opening for M5 at amphitheaters in August.
