The annual sheep shearing took place on Saturday at Gale Woods Farm, part of the Three Rivers Park District. Above, Doug Rathke of Hutchinson sheared more than 200 sheep, and said that it's an extremely demanding job. In one hour, he said, he expends as much energy as a person running for eight hours.
