The watershed across the northern Plains that feeds the Red River could notpossibly handle another big rainstorm at this time. Most certainly that wouldcause a resurgence of flood waters in the already hard-hit region.Fortunately, the two storms that will occur over the next several days arenot going that way. The storm track will be from the southern Plains into theEast which will prevent any more substantial precipitation across the northernPlains.
