Well, what was your favorite memory of that Wolves winning streak?

After winning two straight and three of four playing some pretty good defense, the wheels came off Friday against a Sacramento team that hit 11 of 17 shots while out-scoring Minnesota 31-20 in the fourth quarter.

Afterward Wolves center Karl-Anthony Towns – who missed two corner threes late that would have tied the game – spoke briefly with the press, then went down to the gym to take practice shots.

Here are some final notes from the game:

--It's too bad the Wolves wasted a wonderful shooting night by Zach LaVine, who made 13 of 21 shots for 40 points. This was the third time this season the Wolves have lost a game when they had a player score at least 40 points. It happened twice (Houston, New York) when towns did it, and again tonight.

--It's become a nightly issue, but the Wolves bench was again a problem, managing just 11 points on a night when Andrew Wiggins, Towns and LaVine combined to score 75.

--LaVine's seven three-pointers made also matched a career high.

--Ricky Rubio scored all 13 of his points in the third quarter, the second-biggest quarter of his NBA career.

--DeMarcus Cousins scored 12 of his 32 points in the decisive fourth quarter, also dishing off two assists. It was his 14th 30-point game this season and his third in the last four games.

--It was a good night for ex-Wolves. Kosta Koufos and Anthony Tolliver combined to score 29 points.
