Dominique Serrand A new company is rising from the ashes of Theatre de la Jeune Lune, which closed in 2008 after 30 years. Dominique Serrand and Steve Epp, two former principals of the defunct troupe who have worked together since the collapse, have started The MovingCompany. Their first show under the new structure is the defiantly-titled "Come Hell and High Water," which is loosely based on William Faulkner's flood- and convict-themed novella "Old Man." Directed by Serrand and written by Epp, the show opened in a recent student production at the University of California-Davis. "Hell and High Water" is scheduled to have is professional opening in May at the Southern Theater with a cast that includes Epp as well as former Jeune Lune regulars Nathan Keepers and Christina Baldwin.
