The good doctor

It has been more than two months since we lost the elegant Omar Sharif, but it's not too late to pay your respects with a three-picture tribute starting with "Doctor Zhivago" (7 p.m.) and continuing with "Funny Girl" (10:30 p.m.) and "Funny Lady" (1:30 a.m.). No screenings of "Funny Grandma" are scheduled. TCM

Family reunion

As "Modern Family" clones go, you could do a lot worse than "Life in Pieces," featuring James Brolin and Dianne Wiest as the heads of a multigenerational laugh factory. If viewers can get over the all-too-familiar setup, this may be the best opportunity yet for Rochester native Dan Bakkedahl to sneak onto the A-list. 7:31 p.m. WCCO, Ch. 4

Report card

"Minority Report," based on the Tom Cruise vehicle, stars Meagan Good as a cocky homicide detective in 2065 who teams up with Stark Sands, who can see crimes before they happen. Switching genders from the film and book version is often just a novelty, but in this case it works, thanks to sympathetic performances by the two relatively unknown leads, coming soon to a Sexiest People Alive issue near you. 8 p.m. KMSP, Ch. 9
