LifeScience Alley, the largest trade association in the upper midwest for the life sciences, is presenting the 2012 Minnesota Bioscience Summit on Sept. 27. The event will be held at the Minneapolis Marriott Northwest, 7025 Northland Drive North in Minneapolis. Registration begins at 1:30 p.m. The program is scheduled to run from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The summit will bring together scientists, engineers, healthcare experts, agriculture specialists, business leaders, investors and policymakers. According to LifeScience Alley, the program will provide an up-to-date overview on the state's medical device, biologics and pharmaceuticals and bioindustrial industries "highlighting game-changing technologies, companies and policy positions that support where our bioscience economy is heading." Following the formal program, a special Science Rocks! networking reception will be held.
