Katie Kaufmann is an actor and the grants and operations coordinator at Metropolitan Regional Arts Council. Her daughter, Anya, 4, wants to be an artist, so Kaufmann is a fan of Intermedia Arts' Family Arts Day (10 a.m.-noon Nov. 1, 2822 Lyndale Av. S., Mpls.)
"Anya loves doing 'projects' but I don't love cleaning them up. Intermedia provides the supplies, plays music and gives kids a chance to look at the art on display in their gallery. It's a family art party — and it's not in my living room."
