Matt Halloran drove in four runs and Tyler Peterson went 4-for-5 as part of an 18-hit attack as Eden Prairie overwhelmed Rochester Mayo, 11-4. The Spartans rallied from an early deficit to score four third inning runs for a 4-3 lead. But Halloran unloaded a two-RBI double as part of a five-run fourth inning and the Eagles never looked back. Lance Thonvold tossed 4.1 scoreless innings of relief to gain the victory.
