Miller traveled the world as an Army brat before his folks settled in Minnesota. He graduated from Lake City High School and attended University of Minnesota Duluth before getting a journalism degree from the University of Minnesota in 1981. He and his wife, Mary, have six children and live in Lino Lakes. In his spare time ... well ... he has no spare time.
