EIGHT POSSIBILITIES FOR VIKINGS at No. 11

Vic Beasley, DE/OLB, Clemson: It's unclear whether the Vikings see this wild card as a defensive end or outside linebacker, but he was always in the backfield at Clemson.

T.J. Clemmings, OT, Pittsburgh: It might be a reach to select this offensive tackle with the 11th overall pick. But if they trade down in the first round, he could be a target.

Randy Gregory, DE, Nebraska: He failed a drug test at the combine. The timing of the screw-up more so than the infraction itself could help him fall to No. 11.

DeVante Parker, WR, Louisville: They would be tempted by Alabama's Amari Cooper and West Virginia's Kevin White. But only Parker is likely to be available when they pick.

Marcus Peters, CB, Washington: Some draftniks feel Peters is the draft's best cover man. But after getting booted off the team at Washington, he comes with concerns.

Brandon Scherff, OL, Iowa: It's unclear whether the Vikings are one of the teams that think Scherff can play tackle. Either way, help is needed at both guard and tackle.

Shaq Thompson, LB, Washington: Another possible target if the Vikings trade into the second half of the first round, Thompson is undersized but he can really cover.

Trae Waynes, CB, Michigan State: The consensus selection for the Vikings in several mock drafts, Waynes could give them a nice 1-2 punch with Xavier Rhodes.
