Burglary. Jewelry was stolen from the 10900 block of Xylon Avenue.

Theft. Decorations were stolen from the yard of a home on the 400 block of Orleans Court.

FALCON HEIGHTS

JAN. 18

Robbery. An employee of a liquor store in the 1500 block of Larpenteur Avenue was hit in the head with a bottle while trying to stop a man from stealing a case of vodka. The man said he had a gun and attempted to leave the store with the vodka before the employee took the case from him and a struggle ensued. The man fled to a waiting vehicle. Six of the bottles of vodka were recovered, two were found broken in the parking lot.

Harassment. Officers responded to a home on the 100 block of Craig Way NE. regarding harassment. A man reported that his ex-wife was harassing him on social media about child support.

JAN. 14

Dumping complaint. A resident in the 7500 block of Lyric Lane NE. reported that someone had dumped a box spring and mattress on her front yard.

FEB. 1

Civil dispute. A resident on the 1300 block of Gardena Avenue NE. reported being upset with a tree service that was cutting her trees too short.

Theft. A GPS unit was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 9100 block of 236th Avenue NE.

JAN. 31

Theft. A 2006 Buick Lucerne was stolen from the 2200 block of County Road I. It was later recovered in Minneapolis.

NEW BRIGHTON

JAN. 15

Theft. The license plates were stolen off a vehicle parked in the 2600 block of 17th Street.

OAKDALE

JAN. 17

Theft. Police received a report of clothes stolen from the laundry room of an apartment building in the 1200 block of Glenbrook Avenue. The complainant believed another resident, who saw her in the laundry room, took the clothes. The other resident denied taking the clothes and let an officer check her apartment. The clothes were not recovered.

JAN. 18

Assist public. An employee of a pet boarding business in the 5700 block of Geneva Avenue called police after a man failed to pick up a cat he had dropped off in early December. The man was scheduled to pick up the cat Dec. 6. He had told the business he'd be in soon, but has not shown up.

ST. ANTHONY

JAN. 18

Theft. A 39-year-old man was cited for theft after he was caught stealing a pack of cigarettes from SuperAmerica, 3259 Stinson Blvd. NE.

WOODBURY

JAN. 15

Suspicious activity. An employee at McDonald's, 1759 Weir Dr., told police the restaurant had been receiving prank calls about their Big Mac sandwiches for two hours. When an officer called the suspected source of the calls, someone sounding like a juvenile confessed and agreed to stop making them.
