After impressing in his second-half substitute appearances and practice, rookie Abu Danladi has earned a the reward of a starting sport from Minnesota United coach Adrian Heath.

The No. 1 draft pick out of UCLA had previously played 140 minutes through seven matches this season.

Here is the rest of the starting lineup against Sporting Kansas City at 12:30 p.m. Sunday at TCF Bank Stadium:

Bobby Shuttleworth

Jerome Thiesson, Brent Kallman, Francisco Calvo, Marc Burch

Ibson, Sam Cronin

Miguel Ibarra, Abu Danladi, Kevin Molino

Christian Ramirez

Bench: John Alvbage, Justin Davis, Jermaine Taylor, Collen Warner, Bashkim Kadrii, Ish Jome, Johan Venegas

Venegas is the one who lost his starting job to Danladi. Adrian Heath had said postmatch of the Loons 1-0 loss to the San Jose Earthquakes last week that he expected more energy and effort from Venegas than he saw.

Thiesson also keeps his place in the lineup despite falling ill and missing training on Saturday before the match.

Rasmus Schuller, despite being available for selection this week after recovering from a hip flexor injury, still did not make the match-day squad for the third-straight time.
