Jason Bonham with his Ludwig drums OK, it's not the Led Zeppelin reunion fans are hoping for. But it sounds like an odd facsimile. Jason Bonham, son of the late Zep drummer John Bonham, is putting together Jason Bonham's Led-Zeppelin Experience for a 30-city fall tour. He hasn't announced musicians or cities they'll visit, but he said he is partnering with Annerin Productions, the folks behind the Pink Floyd Experience and Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles. What does this mean? It probably means that you won't get Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones live with the son of John Bonham, the lineup that played a one-off in December 2007 in London. It's more likely going to be Bonham and other musicians playing live while film clips, photos and home movies of Led Zeppelin are shown on giant screens. Bonham, who tours with Foreigner, said he is doing 30 shows to commemorate the 30 years since his father passed away on Sept. 25, 1980. Details to follow. Bonham's website is www.jblze.com.
