Preview: The Timberwolves have won two consecutive games — their second winning streak of the season — and are coming off a victory over Houston on Wednesday that ended the Rockets' nine-game winning streak. After dealing with Houston G James Harden, the Wolves now get another crack at Thunder G Russell Westbrook, who is coming off a 24-point, 13-rebound, 12-assist game at Memphis on Wednesday. The Thunder has won both games vs. the Wolves this season, both by double figures, both in Oklahoma City.

Players to watch: Wolves G Ricky Rubio has 32 assists and four turnovers in his past two games. Wednesday, he tied his franchise record with 17 assists, becoming the third player in franchise history to have 15 or more assists in consecutive games. F/G Andrew Wiggins scored 15 of his 28 points in the first quarter Wednesday, while F Shabazz Muhammad came off the bench to register his second 20-point game of the season. … Westbrook has averaged 29.5 points and 11.5 assists in two games vs. the Wolves this season. Backup C Enes Kanter, who had 19 points and 13 rebounds off the bench in Wednesday's victory over Memphis, had 20 points vs. the Wolves on Christmas Day. G Victor Oladipo is averaging 16.1 points and 4.4 rebounds.

Injuries: Wolves G Zach LaVine (hip) is questionable.
