Preview: The Cavaliers had won three consecutive games and six of their past eight before Saturday's 111-103 home loss to Denver. They are 3-1 on a seven-game homestand that doesn't end until after All-Star break. ... The Cavs have won 10 of their past 13 against the Wolves, including four of the last five in Cleveland. The Wolves won the season's first meeting, 91-73 at Target Center in December. Kevin Love had a 36-point, 13-rebound game in that one.

Players to watch: Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving will work overtime at All-Star weekend in Houston next week: He's playing in the Rising Stars rookie-sophomore game on Friday as well as Sunday's big game, in just his second NBA season. He is the sixth-youngest player named to play in an All-Star Game and leads all NBA point guards with a 24-point scoring average on 47.4-percent shooting. He's also averaging 5.5 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.7 steals. He is only the fifth player in league history to score 30 points in three consecutive games before his 21st birthday. The others: LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Bernard King and John Drew. ... Former Wolves guard Wayne Ellington has scored in double figures in five of eight games since he was acquired in a four-player trade with Memphis. He is averaging 9.5 points in 20.1 minutes in Cleveland.

Injuries: Wolves guard J.J. Barea (foot sprain) did not play Sunday after warming up and is questionable. F Andrei Kirilenko (quad strain), F Kevin Love (hand), F Chase Budinger (knee surgery), G Brandon Roy (knee) and G Malcolm Lee (knee, hip surgery) are out. Cavs F Anderson Varejão (thigh-muscle surgery) is out.
