CORCORAN

JULY 15

Suspicious person. Officers responded to a report of a man taking pictures of women and children at a park near County Roads 50 and 10. They talked with the man, who showed the pictures to officers and said he was thinking of renting the park for an event.

EDINA

JULY 13

Drugs. A 17-year-old boy was cited for possession of marijuana and obstructing the legal process following a traffic stop at France Av. S. and Morningside Road.

JULY 14

Drugs. Following a traffic stop in the 6700 block of York Av. S., officers arrested three 18-year-old Edina men for possession of marijuana. One also was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and underage consumption of alcohol, and another for possession of drug paraphernalia.

EXCELSIOR

JULY 2

Drunken driving. A 44-year-old Minnetonka woman was arrested for drunken driving after she was stopped for driving without headlights on Excelsior Boulevard.

INDEPENDENCE

JULY 8

Safety check. Officers responded to a report of a skid loader being driven with children riding in the bucket, at Independence and Pagenkopf Roads. They found that the driver was a 12-year-old boy and that his 8-year-old sister and 10-year-old brother were riding in the bucket. Officers contacted their father, who said he was aware of what his children were doing and thought it was OK. He was told the 12-year-old had no driver's license, could not operate the skid loader on a public street and was endangering the siblings riding in the bucket.

MAPLE GROVE

JULY 5

Property damage. Officers responded to a report of trees that had fallen on vehicles in the 13000 block of 80th Circle. They found people trapped in the vehicles and freed them.

MAPLE PLAIN

JUNE 30

Noise complaint. A woman from the 1500 block of Howard Avenue reported that noise on the night before had kept her awake and forced her to try to sleep in her car. She was told that officers needed to hear the noise first before citing anyone for noise disturbance.

RICHFIELD

JULY 28

Terroristic threats. Officers responded a report of a device believed to be explosive in the 7600 block of Cedar Avenue S. The bomb squad secured the device.

JULY 29

Disorderly conduct. Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated man possibly trying to lure children at 14th Avenue S. and E. 77th Street. A 23-year-old Woodbury man was cited for disorderly conduct and taken to the hospital.

Drugs. A 20-year-old Minneapolis woman was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after she was stopped for traffic violations.

JULY 30

Disorderly conduct. Officers responded to a report of a disturbance at a home in the 6300 block of Sheridan Avenue S. A 25-year-old Richfield man was arrested for disorderly conduct and fleeing an officer.

AUG. 1

Drugs. Two 20-year-old Bloomington men were cited for possession of marijuana after officers observed them smoking in a vehicle in the 7200 block of Washburn Avenue S.
