Take a festive ride on the North Pole Express Holiday Train. The steam engine with vintage rail cars will travel to the "North Pole," where guests will be greeted by Santa. After the ride, enjoy a free cup of cocoa and a holiday treat. Union Depot hosts its annual holiday bake sale and tree lighting celebration on Saturday. AFTON VILLAGE HOLIDAY
The city of Afton celebrates the season Friday with festive lights and torches for an evening of live music and special events at local retailers. Throughout the rest of the weekend, pick up a map for a self-guided historic walking tour. Horse and carriage rides, wine tasting, strolling carolers, storytelling and cookie decorating.
