Target Corp. intends to expand its Brooklyn Park campus next year with a new 245,000 square foot office building, according to the Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal.
The project would be partially funded through a jobs stimulus program.
The Business Journal said details of the expansion are included in a new contract that Target has with the city to qualify for economic assistance.
Target currently has 1,300 employees spread over four buildings on the 150 acre, five-year-old campus.
A Target spokeswoman told the Business Journal that the Minneapolis-based retailer is "reviewing and updating" its master plan for the Brooklyn Park site. The company declined further comment.
