Supporters rally in downtown Minneapolis on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 to try to stop deportations of Cambodian refugees detained last month by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) because of past felonies. Families of those detained and community members, together with immigrant rights organizations, are calling for their deportations to be stopped and are asking Minnesota's elected officials to intervene. About 100 supporters and families held signs and chanted on the sidewalk and median of S. Washington Avenue near I-35W during afternoon rush hour traffic to raise awareness.
