A Boyd, Wis., hunter who killed a wolf the first day of the Wisconsin season says he received death threats soon after posting a report of his kill on Facebook.
Dennis Nitz shot his wolf on the first day of Wisconsin's season, Monday.
The wolf was a male, weighing 72 pounds.
Nitz had set traps and also was hunting from a blind, using a distressed rabbit call.
