Describe your style: A wool-clad Robin Hood, foraging urban and wild landscapes for items discarded and undiscovered.
On wearing red and green during the holidays: My solstice tree is a North Shore balsam fir, decorated with red-fruited Ilex verticillata (winterberry) from the wilds of Wisconsin. I'd like to resemble such a fine assemblage of indigenous trees.
What's the best fashion present you've ever received? Hand-carved wooden earrings made of walnut and inlaid with amber stones.
What do you do with clothing gifts you hate? I thank the well-intentioned giver, then burn the clothing in a bonfire of yule logs. Especially if it's a pink sweater with sparkly accents.
