Jillian Kuchar, 3, in mom Julie Kuchar's blazer, marveled at a ball-shooting robot engineered by the Eagan High School robotics team. Thursday's event brought together high school students from the 14 area schools that 3M sponsors in robotics. They showed off inventions at the 3M plaza in Woodbury. Julie Kuchar and other 3M employees were invited to test the robots with their families. Henry O'Callaghan, left, pointed to a robot he created with his St. Paul Central robotics team and let Natalie Loewe, 5, drive using a joystick.
