Panthers running back Isley Carrington had touchdown runs of 6, 22 and 77 yards, as part of a 163-yard rushing performance in a dominating victory by Spring Lake Park (8-0). The defense forced two turnovers — on interceptions from Aaron Flink and Benjamin Mackedanz — and the Panthers racked up 28 points before halftime. Spring Lake Park won for the 10th consecutive time over Cooper (6-2).

Key of the game: With two timeouts and just less than 45 seconds left before halftime, Spring Lake Park took over at the Cooper 48. The patient Panthers kept it on the ground, eventually capping the drive on a 4-yard run by quarterback Zachary Ojile with 2.8 seconds left. It was his second of three touchdowns and gave Spring Lake Park a 14-point lead into the break.

Quote: "He's the best quarterback I've played with, and when he's making good [option] reads and our line's blocking the way it is, it makes it pretty fun."— Carrington on teammate Ojile

One thing to know: With a pair of big nights, Carrington and Ojile each surpassed the 1,000-yard rushing mark for the season. The duo has combined for 32 rushing touchdowns.
