A big storm heading across southern Arizona today will continue droppingsnow over the southern Colorado Rockies and the higher elevations in Arizonaand New Mexico.Snow amounts of mostly 1-3 inches will fall in this zone, mostly at elevationsabove 6,000 feet.

However, three to six inches will accumulate over the higher elevations ofnorthern and eastern New Mexico, including in the the San Juan and Sangre deCristo mountain ranges. A couple of the highest peaks could even have up to afoot of snow.

Travel along I-40 and I-25 will slow in areas of snow and slush accumulation.

Again, high spots such as those east and northeast of Albuquerque will have thegreatest accumulation.
