Swings and misses
Vikings offensive linemen drafted in the fourth round or later since 2011
Demarcus Love (sixth round, 2011): Did not play a single game with the Vikings before he was released in 2013. Last seen with the Falcons for their 2015 camp.
Brandon Fusco (sixth round, 2011): A rare late-round success, Fusco started at guard for five seasons. However, injuries derailed his Vikings career and he was cut in February.
Jeff Baca (sixth round, 2013): Made cameos in four games as a rookie before the Vikings let him go. Has not been with a team since bouncing around the NFL in 2014.
Travis Bond (seventh round, 2013): Did not make the Vikings' 53-man roster as a rookie and later appeared in two games for the Panthers. Now plays in the CFL.
David Yankey (fifth round, 2014): Lacked the strength needed to play early and was cut after two seasons. Has since been with the Panthers, playing six games.
T.J. Clemmings (fourth round, 2015): Injuries forced him to start his first two seasons and he was one of the NFL's worst tackles. Not a lock to make the team in 2017.
Tyrus Thompson (sixth round, 2015): Released by the Vikings in his rookie year once a training camp injury healed. Has since been with four teams, currently Carolina.
Austin Shepherd (seventh round, 2015): Played 15 games as a rookie but was let go before last season. Signed back to the practice squad later in 2016 and is still here.
Willie Beavers (fourth round, 2016): Struggled in camp and was the highest 2016 pick to not make a Week 1 roster. Joined active roster in late September but barely played.
