The Canadian romanti-rock band Stars, touring to promote their fifth studio CD, "The Five Ghosts," played a nearly two-hour set at First Avenue's mainroom Wednesday. Featuring compelling vocals by Amy Millan and Torquil Campbell, the 6-piece guitar-drums-synth band performed songs from the new CD as well as older ones, including ""We Don't Want Your Body," "Fixed," Your Ex Lover is Dead," "Take Me to the Riot" and "Never Been Good with Change." Campbell noted how "honored" the band felt to be playing the house that Prince imprinted, joking that he and Prince "played in Little League together." Here are some photos of the show. What did you think of it?What think of the new CD?
