Curtina Wilson, 9, has a hero in her dad K.G. Wilson. Together, they often visit city homicide sites to honor the dead and remind those passing of deaths too soon, like the one on July 28 near Lake St. and 5th Ave. S. The day after, Curtina and K.G. were there with signs for Minneapolis' 31st homicide victim. He turned out to be Carl Antoine Miller, 47. "She's a brave little girl," K.G., says.
