U.S. Sen. Al Franken, in Las Vegas this weekend for a gathering of liberal bloggers and politicos, announced Saturday night that next year's gathering is coming to Minneapolis. "A little bit less glitzy" than Vegas, he said, but also a little "less hot." A consolation prize if Minnesota doesn't land the Democratic National Convention in 2012? Still lotsa Dems, minus the Blue Dogs, perhaps.
