The Minneapolis Veterans Home is getting a $22.3 million grant to renovate a building and an adult health care facility, federal officials announced Wednesday. The money includes $19.1 in federal assistance for the demolition and reconstruction of one building. Another $3.2 million is for renovations to the adult day health care at Building # 4. The grant covers about 65 percent of the total costs. The state will pick up the rest.
